“Russia makes Kherson a zone without civilization, without basic amenities, available in most countries of the world,” said Zelenskyy.

“Before Russia came here, this region, like all other oblasts of Ukraine, was nice and safe, people had access to social services there... life itself was a guaranteed right. And now Russia is literally trying to turn Kherson Oblast into an exclusion zone.”

Zelenskyy asked residents of temporarily occupied territories to do everything to help one another.
