Several former Tennessee Titans are joining forces with the state health department to get the word out about the importance of COVID-19 vaccinations.

The National Football League (NFL) association in Tennessee on Tuesday gathered health leaders and former Titans players to talk about the need to get vaccinated.

With the holiday gathering in full swing, medical experts say your chance of passing the virus onto someone you love is higher right now.

Former Titans all-pro offensive tackle Brad Hopkins talked about how he unexpectedly got Covid and gave it to several family members at Thanksgiving.

"I got a massage Monday, the Monday before Thanksgiving, not even thinking about the young lady who was giving me a massage coughing and telling me she was back from being sick, not with Covid," said Hopkins. "She didn't know what she had been sick with, she just said she had just been out."

I gave it to my dad. I gave it to my son. Gave it to my wife, all from a massage.
