GOP Rep. Burchett says he’s still a no on any short-term funding bill

GOP Rep. Burchett (R-Tenn.) on Sunday said he would vote against any short-term bill to keep the government open and avert a shutdown. 

“No, ma’am. I have not voted for a CR,” Burchett said on CNN’s “State of the Union,” referring to a continuing resolution. “I didn’t vote for one under President Trump, and I haven’t voted for any in the past.”

Buttigieg says GOP needs to ‘come to their senses’ on shutdown

Biden disapproval rating hits highest mark of presidency: poll

The survey also shows support for Biden slipping with voters ages 18 to 24, who reported a 46 percent approval rating, Latinos who reported 43 percent and independents – who will be key to deciding the general election – at 36 percent.

A new NBC News poll showed he has 59 percent of likely support among Republican primary voters, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) had 16 percent support. Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley had 7 percent and former Vice President Mike Pence and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie registered at 4 percent each.
