Warnock: Trump Bibles ‘risky business’

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) said former President Trump selling branded Bibles is “risky business” given the sins of his life, adding to criticism against the former president over the deal.

Warnock, a reverend who gave an Easter sermon at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Martin Luther King Jr.’s church in Atlanta, on Sunday, said selling the Bibles goes against the tenets of the religion. “The Bible does not need Donald Trump’s endorsement,” he said in a CNN “State of the Union” interview with Dana Bash on Sunday.

Buttigieg says there will be ‘more’ federal funding for Baltimore Bridge collapse

Baltimore mayor says he’s ‘ignoring the noise’ of DEI blame for bridge collapse

Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott (D) said that he is brushing off the “DEI mayor” labels that began circulating after the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse last week.

Asked on CBS News’s “Face the Nation,” about the labels, Scott said, ” Listen, I am a young black man and young black mayor in this country. We know that there are a lot of racism, folks who don’t think I should be in this job.”
