Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg pivoted criticism of Vice President Harris towards former President Trump on Sunday, remarking that voters are now concerned about Trump’s age and well-being now that he faces a much younger opponent in the presidential election.

Buttigieg clashed with “Fox News Sunday” host Shannon Bream over criticism that Harris kept quiet amid concerns about President Biden’s age and mental wellness in the weeks before he left the campaign.

Crow: ‘No doubt’ Biden can serve out his term despite age concerns

Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.) said he has “no doubt” that President Biden will be able to effectively serve out the remainder of his term, despite his earlier concerns about his age and acuity regarding his reelection campaign.

Crow added in a NewsNation “The Hill Sunday” interview with Chris Stirewalt that he’s confident Biden made the right decision to leave the presidential campaign.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) blasted Vice President Harris, saying she makes President Biden “look competent and moderate.”

“Under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, everything has gone to hell. And it will be much worse under Kamala Harris. Just look at her record,” Cotton said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “Kamala Harris is a dangerous liberal. She makes Joe Biden look competent and moderate by contrast.”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said that the Supreme Court is “actively undermining” democracy in the U.S.

Warren said on CNN’s “State of the Union” that she and her colleagues are working to put together reform for the Supreme Court, including looking at term limits and adding more justices to the bench. She echoed President Biden’s comments calling for reform to the Supreme Court in his last six months of office.

Moore: Biden ‘deserved better’ than people around him publicly demanding he step down

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore (D) criticized fellow Democrats for calling on President Biden to leave the presidential race publicly earlier this month, noting that the move hurt the administration.

Moore said in an ABC “This Week” interview with Martha Raddatz that while he agreed with critics that Biden should end his reelection campaign, he disagreed with publicly making the claim.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) said it was an “honor” to be floated as Vice President Harris’s running mate while dodging questions about whether he has received vetting materials.

“Well, I’m not speaking on anything personal on this. I think being mentioned is certainly an honor,” Walz told CNN’s Jake Tapper when asked if he had received vetting materials to be the vice presidential candidate.
